Invalid access to memory location

Greetings,

I am using 16.2.2 build-19200509. I have a Windows 10 VM on a Windows 10 host.

Starting yesterday, when I am using the Windows 10 VM, I am getting the following error -

I went ahead and repaired the virtual disk by installing the Virtual Disk Development Kit, and running the repair command -

vmware-vdiskmanager.exe -R "D:\VirtualMachines\WorkVM2\WorkVM2.vmdk"

Having done this, I am still getting the following error -
