Installing sound drivers for a Windows 98 guest OS

I installed the "SBPCI128Setupus_w9x" drivers in the guest OS. During the installation, there was a near crash and now, instead of a sound card with no driver, I get a sound card with this error: "Windows stopped responding while attempting to start this device, and will therefore never attempt to start this device again (Code 11.)"

...How do I fix this? Did I install the wrong driver?

Win9x driver link is dead - I get redirected to Creative's support page.

Edit: Do you have a file name?

No, it's not available. I still have no idea how to get the currect sound driver. If I'm being ignored, I'd at least like to know why.
