Installation of OS SW on VM same size as standard OS Install?

Hello,

i have a laptop that I am thinking of running VMPLAYER and MAC OS.   The HD is a SSD 64GB drive with Windows 7.

If I was to install MAC OS, does the VM install size the same as a standard OS installation (Apple recommends 6GB for installation, should I assume the same when installing on VMPlayer?)

Yes you should - just because it is virtualized does not mean you are going to be able to get away from the requirements of the OS
