IPv6 communication with the guest machine

Hello, guys. I have the following setup here on my site:

1) A Windows XP SP3 host

2) VMWare Player 3.1.0

3) Windows Embedded 5.1 SP3 as the guest operating system

I assigned the following IPv6 addresses to the guest and host:

Host: fd00::2

Guest: fd00::1

The network setting of VMWare Player is "Bridged". My problem now is that I can ping the host from the guest, but I can not ping the guest from the host. I get ping time out all the way.:smileycry:

Any idea what could be wrong? I would appreciate any kind of help!

I forgot to mention that IPv4-Ping works in both directions without any problems!

OK, I found out what the reason was. It was not the virtualization but strange settings of the firewall of the guest system... )))
