How to see Virtual Machine's unique ID ?

Hi,

I created a new Virtual machine, and I'm able to run it from VM ware player. However, I need to find the VM's id, possibly without using Vsphere CLI (since I don't have VSphere installed) ?

The UUID is stored in the SMBIOS system information descriptor. It can be accessed by standard SMBIOS scanning software — for example SiSoftware Sandra or the IBM utility smbios2
