How to make VMware Workstation Player not quit after shutting down or suspending guest?

I don't get why the application closes after I shut down or suspend guest , is there an option to disable this behaviour?

Hi,

I don't think so, what you are asking for is part of VMware Workstation Professional, not VMware Player.

Ah, I see now, didn't expect VMware to implement such a basic option in the paid edition only. Anyway, thank you for the reply.

VMplayer is a UI for a single VM.

They could have implemented it ion such a way that it asks: do you want to open another VM now ?

but that is basically the same as if you just open a new instance.
