How to get VMware to use NVIDA Geforce GTX 1650 Super

How to get VMware to use NVIDA Geforce GTX 1650 Super. I'm running Widows 11. I'm using VMware to run Windows 7 to play some older games. When I try to install the games it says I need a 3D compatible graphics card. Is there a way to get VMware to recognize the Geforce card ?

The virtual machine does not have direct access to the host operating systems graphics adapter.

The graphics adapter seen by the VM is a virtualized adapter that identifies as a VMware SVGA adapter. This adapter does provide 3D support through the driver present in VMware Tools.

Workstation 16 can support DirectX 11 . See the following section of the documentation https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Workstation-Pro/16.0/com.vmware.ws.using.doc/GUID-F5186526-2382-4F... that describes the setup required.

Thank you for sharing the solution. I was looking for the same. I will try to figure it out for more.
