How to enter Unity mode with Windows 7 host and XP and Windows 7 clients?

I'm running VMWare Player 3.1.4 and have one VM running Windows XP and others running Windows 7. I saw the "Enter Unity" entry on the VMware Player menu, but it is always grayed out.  Could someone enlighten me how to enable the Unity mode?

When supported, Unity view require VMware Tools be installed.  Have you installed VMware Tools in the Virtual Machines?

Hi all,

I acidently found out my problem and also its solution.

I typically set my VMWare Player window to be "full window". In full window mode, the "Enter Unity" menu entry will always be grayed out. As soon as I resize the window to partial window size, the "Enter Unity" entry is activated and I can enter UNITY mode.

Thanks for all the help.

Ah, yeah, Windows' Fullscreen mode won't let you go straight into Unity mode. Glad you figured it out. =:)
