HPE DL380G10 Server's One Ethernet Bridge not Working via VMnet

Hi,

I have prepared a virtual machine (Windows 2008 Standard 32 Bit). I have also installed VMware Tools 11.0. This server machine has four physical ethernet ports that I want to connect with my virtual machine via bridged VMnet. I can connect three ports without any problem however one port is not appearing in VM. In Device Manager this port shows Error Code 31. I also tried reinstalling VMware tools but no gain.

P.S.:I have another secondary server's VM (Windows 2008 Standard 32 Bit) with similar settings, that is working all good with all four ethernet ports.

Please help.

Hi,

Found the solution after some troubleshooting. Here is what I did:

- Uninstall the ethernet driver from Device Manager inside VM

- Pressed "Scan for Hardware Changes" button from Device Manager inside VM

Now all four ports are working fine.
