Finding older version of VMware Player

I'm trying to install player on a Windows 7 machine, but apparently 16.0 only supports Win 8 or higher. Is there someplace I can download an older version that works for Windows 7?

Hi,

From this link you should be able to download slightly older versions:
https://my.vmware.com/web/vmware/downloads/info/slug/desktop_end_user_computing/vmware_workstation_p...

Use the dropdown to change versions to download.
Note that you can't download versions earlier than 14 unless you had a license for them (or downloaded them earlier via your my.vmware account)

The following KB article has the supported host OS versions per Workstation version:

https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2129859

hope this helps,
