Fedora 13 Yum Update

Running Windows 7 as host, installed Fedora 13 and worked very well. When I try to do a yum update,  It fails when trying to update the kernel. Boot partition does not have enough space, needs 6 MB additional. Can anyone tell me how to increase a partition size?

Thanks

Roger

You can expand the size of the virtual hard disk via...

Virtual Machine > Virtual Machine Settings > Hard Disk > Utilities > Expand...

However after that it is not a VMware Player issue and you will need to do just as you would have to on a physical machine to utilize the expanded unpartitioned space on the virtual hard drive just as if you didn't partition and use the entire physical disk when installing the OS.

Thanks Woody, that gives me a direction. Wish there was a way to specify partition sizes on install.

There is!  As you walk through the install when you get to "Which type of install would you like?" you can select "Create Custom Layout" or if you select "Use All Space" you also check the "Rewiew and modify partitioning layout" check box.
