Easy Install won't stop and is always in progress.

I have VMware Player 3.1.2 installed on Win7 and have built a WinSrvr2008 machine. When I try to install the VWware Tools I get the following message;

"WMware Tools installation cannot be started manually while Easy Install is in progress."

How do I initiate the end or close of the Easy Install process?

Welcome to the Community,

edit the VM's settings and detach the autoinst.flp from the virtual floppy drive. You can also delete the autoinst.flp from the VM's folder.

I have resolved my issue by going to Removable Devices>Floppy>Settings and chaned the connection from Use floppy image file autoinst.flp to Use physical drive. This ended the Easy Install porcess and allowed me to install the VMware Tools.
