EFI VMware ... No Media.

This issue SOLVED!

I understood what I was doing wrong. It's ok Now...thanks.

any ideas please?

Txs.

When I first open (Workstation 17),... I get error ''EFI VMware ... No Media.''

It is 'On' with green arrow showing.

If I go in Settings: Option ........ Advance isn't there.

I want to select Bios (Firmwar)...... but I can't.

Advance is not shown.

Also,..In settings,... have the VM pointing to Windows.ISO  (as shown below) .....................................................Thanks.

EDIT: I'm staring to understand a few things. I will need to boot the windows .ISO file from a Virtual CD? Is that correct?

My Laptop is new, with Win 10 but has no DVD player. How do I go about it please?  Thank you.

In addition to your original problem (of trying to use the VMware Tools for Windows installation, instead of an actual Microsoft Windows OS installation), it is a VERY BAD IDEA to have your virtual machines on a OneDrive folder subset... They WILL get corrupted eventually.
