Dual Monitor Screens set-up with VMWarePlayer (W7/XP)

Hello,

I am running Windows 7 Proff 64 b and VMWarePalyer with XP. Under Windows 7 Proff I have 4 screens set-up. When VMWarePlayer starts-up within W7, I have only one screen and when I want to drag for instance a page within XP/VMWarePlayer to a additional monitor page, this is not possible. I have tried to set-up 2 displays within VMWarePlayer and adjust the screen settings then within XP to 2 monitors, but it seems not to work ...

Has someone any idea how I could get this working ?

Hi there,

I'm also using Win 7 64bit and would like to try Xp under vmware until I came accross this thread. I don't want to came accross a problem like this unless there is a solution for there.

Hi thanks, but I notice your link is not working. Has this to do with 2 monitor screens ?

Enter full screen mode in Player (click the Maximize button or double-click the title bar). Then use the Cycle Multiple Monitors button to add a monitor to the VM.
