We are setting a project where we are creating a VM image for remote developers inside the company. As you can guess the communication link between sites is not great and I we will need to send updates to the remote users. We''d like to use vmplayer ( open to suggestions ) to create the VM and then compress the image and have the remote uers download the compressed image. The problem is that we will need to do this numerous times and I was wondering if there is a way to just send the updates ( using a diff tool? ) to the remote users so that the download doesn't take so long.
