Debian network not working in Vmware player

Hello,

     I'm currentlytrying to get the network connection up on VMware player with debian lenny installed in it. WindowsXP is my laptop operating system.

Set Up details:

VMware version:3.1.3 build-324285

Debian lenny : 5.0.8

Well the Guest has received an IP Address from the Host's VMnet8's DHCP Server so there is connectivity however you need to be more explicit and specific as to what you're trying to do and any error messages if any.

You have more then one physical network card - so you must disable "automatic bridging" in vmnetcfg.exe

Have you done this ?
