Couple of Issue with Player

Anybody seem these issues before:

1. I use Soft Remote VPN client software on my laptop, when VMWare Player is installed the VPN Client does not work, it may be a problem with the virtual network adaptors? Once I remove the VMWare player and restart all is OK. Any ideas?

2. When the VMWare Player is installed login times into Windows XP on my laptop increases from less than 20 seconds to 2 to 3 minutes before the Windows Start button will respond. Any Ideas?

VPN software may not recognize/understand when you add new network adapters. Have you tried re-installing the VPN software after Player is installed?

Network Connections>Advanced menu>Advanced Settings. Change the provider order to move the VMware NICs to the bottom of the list.

Looks very good I will try these out.

I am building a new laptop next week and I will install the player first.
