Hello,
I installed VM Player 3.0 on windows 7 ultimate. First it was
running fine, then after a couple of days it stops working, VMPlayer is not starting now...
Then I try to reinstall it then the starting windows won't load. I
change the default temp directory to C:\temp and was able to run the
installation program again. But VM player doesn't run. I look the
services but all VMware services are stopped, and I cannot start it
even by changing the default account and put administration direct
account on it...
Any idea in hot to start these services in order to run VM player 3.0 ?
I apreciate your help as expert in these issues, I when to your side, but it seems that is the best way to take contact with you.

Can you try to set this service "Symantec Management Client" to manual start and reboot.
After reboot login as administrator and use "run as adminiostrator" when opening VMplayer - still the same then ?
What does this one do ? "Base Filtering Engine"
