Hi,
I have Windows 7 as operation system on my PC. I uses Ubuntu as second OS with VMWare player.
My question is:
How can I start any program on Windows using Terminal in Ubuntu (through TCP/IP connection)?
I can't use Putty and SSH.
Is it any built-in commands? I needs run cmd files on Windows using only ip address of Windows.
Thanks.
Hi
You can enable a telnet server on your W7, but try to use a ssh server like cygwin/openssl Cygwin SSHD HowTo
Another way is to use powershell from your linux, https://access.redhat.com/site/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Virtualization_for_Servers/2.2...and PowerShell on Linux, Solaris, Mac, PHONES!!! etc - Windows PowerShell Blog - Site Home - MSDN Blogs

Welcome to the Community - Perhaps this will do it - http://www.rdesktop.org/?
The OP said, "How can I start any program on Windows using Terminal in Ubuntu (through TCP/IP connection)" with the key words being "using Terminal" and rdesktop is its own application that does a RDP session and not the same thing as using Terminal.
