Connecting to a USB drive

My Host system is win7 my guest system is CentOS 6.1. I am trying to get my guest system to see the usb drive that is plugged into my host. When i start the guest system there is no option on the bottom to connect usb. All the others are there HDD, CD,...  VMware tools is installed. How can i access my usb drive?

No settings for a usb drive in the settings that i can find
