We have a number of laptops used by our beta testers which run VMware player 3.1.4
The Network Configuration looks like:
192.168.x.0 /24 (Physcial NIC)
Host (Windows 7 32 bit ---NAT--- XP VM
Internet - Corp LAN (Wireless)
IF I configure NAT to use 192.168.x.0 then the VM can talk to that network just fine, the problem is that it needs to get to the Corp LAN to pick up software licenses.
The 192.168.x.0 address changes based on the job that currently underway. So it would be better if the solution was flexable
what about adding a second nic that uses bridged mode to the VMs ?
