Cannot install VMWARE-player-16

Win 10.   I cannot install VMWare-player-16   which I have downloaded (wanting it to run Windows XP).    Everything goes well until I get a message, "Insert the VMware Player disc and check O.K.".   I have no disc!   I cannot find any vmwareplayer.msi on my computer

Issues like this are often caused by a corrupted/incomplete download.
Please verify whether the downloaded installation file is healthy, or download it again.
