High, i thought i could drag and drop files from the host to player but i get a stop sign over VMplayer.Can u drag and drop? is there another way to share files?
1. Are the VMware Tools installed in the guest? They must be installed for DnD to work.
2. Are both the Host and the Guest Windows-based? The current released versions of Workstation and Player only support DnD between Windows hosts/guests.
You can get the Tools from the Workstation trial, or the VMware Server. You don't need to install either of them - just download the Linux host tarball version, open with WinZip, and extract the 5 iso files.
