How about some details? Host OS and version? Player version? Did you verify the checksums of the downloaded installation file? Did you install as Admin?
I installed as Admin, Host OS is Windows 11 Home Version 22H2, I'm on the Workstation 17 Player newest version. I am unaware of how to verify the checksums.
