Can Not delete VM in Workstation Player 16

I have a Ubuntu machine that won't delete. Previously it appeared 2 times in the list of machines. It allowed me to delete first instance but not the second.  I deleted the virtual disk and machine is still there.  Workstation  says can't find disk but still will not allow it to be deleted

If the VM is truly deleted from your hard disk (check via Explorer), then the Player GUI should allow you to simply "Remove from Favorites".
