I've installed Player 3.1 on a Windows 7 64-bit host, for the purposes of running an XP guest. There was a problem with the Oracle Connector for Outlook when using NAT networking, so on a test machine I switched to Bridged and the problem was solved. However, on the production machine, when I switch it to Bridged, all DNS lookups fail even though it picks up the relevant servers via DHCP, can ping the DNS servers and telnet to them on port 53.
I find it particularly odd that it works on one machine but not the other (though the testing one was on a different network).
