Hi,
after some problems i could install vmware tools on windows 7 guest (ubuntu host). I use vmware workstation player v16. i can't enable aero that is needed by an application i want to use. The name of the graphics card in device manager is
VMWare SVGA 3D
i guess this is not the "graphic card" i need for aero?
When windows starts there is a notification that 3d support is not available from the host. But this should work
glxinfo | grep direct
direct rendering: Yes
On the linux guest i use the amdgpu driver insteda of radeon. Can this be the problem?
