Access to host partitions/folders

VMware Player: I set everything up as I had done in the past; however, I am unable to access, under shared folders, my hosts partitions/folders. I feel that there is one thing I missed. I have done this before successfully.

Did you install VMware Tools in the guest OS?

Btw which host OS, which guest OS and which version of VMware Player are you using?

If you're talking about VMware Shared Folders you need to have VMware Tools installed, have you installed VMware Tools?

Also if you have then in your next reply supply the missing information about your configuration.

What Host OS Product and Version are you using?

What Guest OS Product and Version are you using?

Have you installed VMware Tools in the Guest?

Archive and attach a copy of the VM's .vmx configuration file and any vmware*.log files that are in the VM's folder.

Note: DO NOT Copy and paste the contents of the .vmx configuration or .log files into the body of a reply rather do as asked and archive all the files into a .zip file and attach to a reply.
