When the VMware boots up, we are getting "3D graphics acceleration will be disabled. This computer does not have a 3D graphics system supported by VMware Player" message, please refer attachment. Please advise.

There are two issues.
The Ubuntu 9.04 host only has OpenGL 1.3. OpenGL 1.4 is one of the requirements for 3D graphics acceleration.
OpenGL Renderer: "Mesa DRI Radeon 20061018 NO-TCL"
OpenGL Version: "1.3 Mesa 7.4" (1.3.0)
The guest is Ubuntu 8.04.1. 3D graphics acceleration is not available in Linux guests.
