There appears to be an issue with DS3DB0...quite a few I/O errors being reported on the VM.
I see a lot of disk (sdb) issues in those messages. Make sure you can write out a 100G file size on the /ds3 partition on DS3DB0 VM.

Worked with Stephen and decided to manually make DS3 DB with local storage vs NFS storage. DS3 DB build was successful. Now will move DS3DB0 to NFS storage and try a tile run.
