VMmark2 PowerCLI Service Failed to Start :: Loadtime =

Hello,

I am not able to execute vmmark test on more than 7 tiles...strange.. Smiley Happy

it works perfectly on 7 tiles, I get "vmmark2 powercli service failed to start" when executing vmmark on more than 7 tiles.

I also tried to define the variables below with no success.

RMQ_WorkerDelay=60

RMQ_PowerCLI_Delay=120

Attached my results file for 8 tiles.

Thanks in advance,

   Moshe

In VMMARK2.CONFIG, you have client6 twice in the CLIENTS= line. client7 is missing. Also, please set DEBUGFLAG=1 when you rerun so we can get more info.

Please shut down any tiles not under test (tile8, tile9, tile 10).

A quick glance at your environment variables show that Java on the prime client isn't installed in C:\Java, according to section "Install a Java JRE" of the benchmarking guide. Update JAVA_HOME updated to reflect this. Follow the steps in Rebecca's post starting at Re: VMmark2 PowerCLI Service Failed to Start :: Workers Ready:0, Comment #8. Review the installation guide to make sure you have all required software installed on the prime client.

Hi Lisa,

gets the same error.

but when I changed the TILES to 7 from 8 (TILES=7) it works !! same configuration,same set up.

enclosed both result files.

TILES=7 -> VMmark2 PowerCLI Service Started Successfully

TILES=8 -> VMmark2 PowerCLI Service Failed to Start :: Loadtime  =

Thanks,

How many CPUs and how much Memory does your Prime Client have?

What version of OS?

Have you tried setting "RMQ_PowerCLI_Delay=240"?  It looks like the service is starting a bit slower than normal.
