The failure occurred due to a syntax error in VMmark3.properties file with "InfrastructureList =" entry. The entry had a ":" instead of an "=". Due to the syntax error the job stream was looking for LUNs (which were empty) for infrastructure tasks.
I was on a conference call with Stephen and we were able to get 2 tiles running without infrastructure. They are now working on getting at least 10 tiles without infrastructure running based on some of the official VMmark3 submitted results.
