Recently, I found there is a warning message in vmkernel.log file about ACPI FADT table length error.
I cheched the ACPI specificaiotn version 5.0, the length of FACP is 268 bytes. For ACPI 2.x, 3.x and 4.x, the length is 244 bytes.
It looks like VMware does not support ACPI 5.0.
But I can't find a tool under ESXi shell which can be used to dump the ACPI talbe like "iasl" tool in linux.
the "/proc" node has been removed in ESXi 5.x OS.
Does anyone know how to dump the ACPI table under ESXi 5.x? thanks in advance.
