Build testing environment by making use of Vmware on Windows 7

Hi all,

I have to make a penetration testing environment. Due to lack of number of PCs that I have, I will make use of Vmware. The enviroment should have at least 8 PCs as victims and all of them are Windows. My Windows 7 machine will serve as an attacker and as a host for Vmware which is contain 4 guest machines (3 Windows XP as victims and 1 Ubuntu machine as Snort instance for monitoring).

The ability of making the network connection for the guest machines in Vmware as physical connection can help a lot. The problem on this situation will be with snort which cannot be on promiscuous mode on the physical connection. I am using Vmware workstation version 7.1.0 build-261024 on Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit . Any help...

Yes I have, but as you see, it's for Linux host not for Windows!
