VMRC on Mac won't connect to VSphere or hosts

Hello All,

I'm having a problem with the VMWare Remote Console on my Mac and have not been able to figure it out.  Whenever I try to connect the console to a VM through VCenter or directly through the host, the connection fails.  I get a popup saying "Failed to initialize SSL session to remote host." and in vmware-vmrc.log I see the following lines:

2016-12-01T15:05:45.619-05:00| VMware Remote Console| I125: VmdbPipeStreamsOvlError Couldn't read: OVL_STATUS_EOF (remote disconnect)

2016-12-01T15:05:45.620-05:00| VMware Remote Console| I125: VmdbCnxDisconnect: Disconnect: closed pipe for sub cnx '/db/connection/#8/' (-32)

2016-12-01T15:05:45.620-05:00| VMware Remote Console| I125: Internal VMDB error: Pipe connection has been broken (-14)

2016-12-01T15:05:45.620-05:00| VMware Remote Console| I125: Internal VMDB error: Pipe connection has been broken (-14)

I have had no luck finding a solution that applies to the VMRC, so I'm hoping someone here has some experience with this they can share.  I've tried removing the app, deleting the preferences plist, removing the host cert... nothing has worked.

I'm running VMRC 9.0 (4288332) on Mac OS 10.12.1 and connecting to VMWare ESXi 5.5.0 (Build 4179633)

Thank you for sharing your experience,

Jason
