VMRC Failed to connect to VCENTER:9443: Htttp Error 404

What versions of vCenter Server / vSphere web client are you both using?  What about client operating system and version?

Also, you need to make sure that the user of VMRC has entered host authentication details.  In vSphere web client, by the time you got to the VM summary page, you'll already have logged in to VC.  Where are you accessing VMRC from?

I'm using the ESX 6.0  RC version of vCenter/web client installed on windows 2008 R2 Standard.

I click the "open with VMRC" link on the VM's page while logged into the web client. I just downloaded VMRC so I assume I'm using the latest version available.

This was an issue that was fixed in RTM of vSphere 6.0 (and included in the upcoming GA of 6.0).  Are you able to access the RTM build, and see if you're coming across the same error?  Let me know if not, and I'll see if I can get you access.
