VMRC Connection Error / No SSL connection could be established

Hi there,

after replacing the seflsigned certificates on ESXi 7.0 and vCenter 7.0 with custom certificates i can´t open a VMRC console. I get a SSL Connection error. Both Web UI´s are working correctly with the new custom SSL certificates without any issues.

I get the same error on the ESX and vCenter WebUI.

We need urgent assistance. Any help is appreciated.

thanks for your answer. I would prefer to solve the issue with the help of the community instead of opening a support case at VMware, which i have to pay for. I hope the community can help me to solve the issue even if it takes mor time.

Hi all,

after restarting the ESX i can use the VMRC again without any issues. Unfortunately on the vCenter the problem still exist after a reboot. if i tried to open the VMRC on a virtual system the vCenter tries to open the VMRC with the https URL of the vCenter Server I still get the SSL error.

Any ideas?
