There are two ways this request can be interpreted. Here are some ways to do it:

  • Increase the resolution of the remote VM
    • VMRC on Windows and Linux will fit the VM's resolution to VMRC's window size if the remote VM has a) VMware Tools installed, and b) sufficient video memory allocated (edit in ESXi/vCenter; VMRC's Settings dialog does not expose this).
    • Use the remote VM's guest OS controls to change the resolution.
  • Increase the size of the console window without changing the resolution of the remote VM
    • VMRC on macOS always stretches the VM's screen to fill the window.
    • Workstation stretches in full-screen mode with View>Autosize>Stretch Guest set.
