If your environment is anything like ours, then you will have a handful of VM's that were created as P2V's. And with those come the occasional hardware entry that will prevent a VM from VMotion'ing.
This script will check your entire environment for VM's with attached hardware and has proven to save me many headaches, especially when patching ESX hosts.
The comments in the script describe what it looks for. There are other types of hardware that can be added to this scan, but these are the usual suspects in my environment.
