vSphere™ PowerCLI access directly from PHP code

Hello,

i would like to write a web interface to centralize VM and automatize console for my organization ,i will build the server engine based on PHP.

My question did anyone had experience executing code directly from php code like(exec) or its the best way to run some scripts based on perl ,powershell ,Autoit etc.. and manipulate the output?

I was also thinking of doing this a while back, have you checked out this site: http://www.powershelltoys.com/powershellasp.aspx

They integrate powershell into ASP, looks like the easiest method to me. Sorry haven't tried executing from PHP.
