invoke-vmscript how does it works

I tested the invoke-vmscript and found the tool very interesting but can some one tell me how does it work ?

is this command using the network path so depending on gpo firewall and all other restrictions ?

or does this command goes throw vcenter fonctionalities and only needs an admin account for the guest to work as if we was connected with a TS console

hope my question is clear

The Invoke-VmScript cmdlet uses the VC to VMware Tools communication to run the script on the guest.

There is good info on the Invoke-VmScript in this thread .

Carter made a great video when VITK v1.5 was released.

And the VMworld Europe 2009 labs contain an Invoke-VMScript example.
