guest_os_info_powercli

Hi Luc,

good morning,

could you suggest if following

$vms=get-vm -location cluster1|?{$_.guest.OSFullName -eq 'Microsoft Windows Server 2012 (64-bit)'}

will retrive info from what is actually installed inside vm irrespective of what is given while deploying vm .as sometimes there is mismatch between two.

Any running VMware Tools version that works with the ESXi version and supports the guest OS will do.

That is correct, just realise that this depends on the presence of the VMware Tools.
