get-scsilun returns nine objects from get-datastore

When I run the following command it returns nine objects in my environment:

get-datastore VMFS-Datastore1 | get-scsilun

Shouldn't this just return a single object - the disk that is holding the datastore? We're not using extents or anything - it should be a one to one-mapping.

Thanks,

Ed

I suspect that the specific datastore is visible/shared between nine different ESX(i) servers.

What you are seeing is a path per host to that datastore.

Add the -VMHost parameter to see 1 specific entry.
