Looks like some of the myVMware changes have broken the ability to download PowerCLI 5.0.1 (or maybe I'm just blind). If I start by going to vmware.com/go/powercli and then clicking the "download" link like normal (which points to http://downloads.vmware.com/downloads/download.do?downloadGroup=PCLI501) it just takes you to the generic download page. If you are logged into your VMware account, it actually redirects you to https://my.vmware.com/group/vmware/downloads?downloadGroup=PCLI501 which is also a generic download page.
If I click on the "All SDKs and APIs" link at the bottom, and then "vSphere PowerCLI" on the right side, then it just takes me back to where I started. The only other way I've been able to find the download is by selecting "VMware vSphere" from the generic downloads page and then selecting the "Drivers & Tools" tab followed by expanding the "Automation Tools and SDKs" menu and scrolling down to "VMware vSphere PowerCLI 5.0" but unfortunately that's the 5.0.0 version, not 5.0.1.
I have the installer downloaded at work already, but was setting up a different PC not at work and noticed this. Hopefully someone that works at VMware can get this fixed soon.
Im looking into the issue, please us this link to download PowerCLI 5.0.1 in the meantime:
https://my.vmware.com/group/vmware/get-download?downloadGroup=PCLI501
Sorry for the inconvenience.
I can confirm what you are seeing, the new My VMware seems to have lost PowerCLI 5.0.1 somewhere

Link you provided does not work sends me to
https://my.vmware.com/group/vmware/home
and page does not open
Did you login ?
Ya I did login and now it's taking me to All Downlaod page
I think that page is user specific
Still Not Working??
The correct URL for the PowerCLI download page in My VMware is:
http://www.vmware.com/downloads/download.do?downloadGroup=PCLI501
Regards, Robert
I saw you and Jake asking about the PowerCLI Twitter bot. Surely that's not really a bot, but just Luc tweeting in his "sleep," right?
Also, your URL worked fine for me.
This seems to work as well as the one Alan provided (at least for me at this time).
I am still not wholly convinced that Luc isn't a robot/cyborg/android etc.
The link should now be fixed and working fine again. Josh, I am also convinced he is the T5000 come back in time to help PowerShell self evolve.
Looks good here, thanks for the quick help/fix.
and I was starting to think I'd lost it. I went as far as checking the version I had installed, Yup PowerCLI 5.0.1 build 581491, back to the site, WHAT THE HECK, google search, welcome to the answer.
Hi guys,
The link "https://my.vmware.com/group/vmware/get-download?downloadGroup=PCLI501" is correct and working. I am busy downloading from it
