add portgroups to distributed virtual switch

I would migrate our virtual switch to a distributed virtual switch. Because we have a lot of portgroups I will script this task.

Is it possible to add the portgroups to a dv-switch with the power-cli?

Yes, but you have to use the raw API, there are no cmdlets to do it.

There are 2 ways to get to a sample script.

1. go to the lucd.info web site (he is a guru on scripting with powershell and so.

2. Go to the vmware.com/go/onyx this is a procy that helps you to understand what is happening when you use your vsphere client. It gives you scripts.
