XML Editing and PowerCLI Scripts

Okay so I've been using PowerCLI to do more and more automation of annoying tasks that need to be repeated. But now I'm stuck because I don't understand how to go from manually entering in commands into the PowerCLI window and creating XML scripts that are called by a Scheduled Task.

Is there some training out there or good articles on how to go from doing manual entry of command line stuff and into actually developing scripts?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Paul

I assume you mean PowerShell scripts, and not XML scripts ?

You can find a good intro to PowerShell scripts in Chapter 10 of Tobias's free PowerShell ebook.
