Vsepflt

Hi gurus

I have this weird issue, in which I have a pool of 20 VM , but 11 has this driver component VSEPFLT installed and running  and I have the rest that does not, is there a way to push/install this driver component using PSCLI to a set of VM?

Thanks a bunch

I think this might be what you are looking for, VMware vShield Driver Installation through PowerCLI

Thanks a bunch , I have notices that the mounts works but the script was ot doing anything, so I checked the tools itself and VMCI that contain the guest vm- file introspection support and the network drives are red X out by default, do you know if this can be unchecked using powershell CLI switch.

Thanks again for the help

Did you reboot the VM after that?

The settings "ADDLOCAL=ALL REMOVE=Hgfs,WYSE" should include the Introspection driver.
It probably even contains too many components of the Tools.

But yes, that is the method I know.
There is an alternative where one finds, via WMI or the by looking it up in the registry, the cached installation file.
And then runs that one with the required changes.
