VI toolkit Extensions - Get-TkeLogLastModifiedDate

Hi I'm trying to run

get-vm | Get-TkeLogLastModifiedDate

but i only get one VM returned

[VI Toolkit] C:\scripts> get-vm | Get-TkeLogLastModifiedDate

Name LogLastModifiedDate
---- -------------------
VSV-SQL-TAA 01/01/0001 00:00:00

any ideas?

(at first this function wouldn't run I think it was trying to call a function called get-datastorefiles which doesn't exist in the latest TKE Module dated 2nd May, I did find it in an older version of the extensions so I copied it over and it now runs)

Sounds like Get-TkeLogLastModifiedDate needs to get updated. The new function is called Get-TkeDatastoreFile. Can you file an issue over at codeplex to get this tracked?

Thanks.

Hi Carter,

I've logged the issues at Codeplex. Ignore my comment about function only returning 1 VM, I was using it incorrectly.

There does seem to be an issue where $logfile isn't returned - I've mentioend that in the issue as well.

Cheers.
