FYI - it is possible to run VI toolkit for powershell from a cold clone LiveCD.
If anyone has interesting usage ideas let me know

Is there connectivity from the cold clone LiveCD to the VC and/or the ESX hosts ?
If yes, I could see non-intrusive reporting/statistics scripts running from the LiveCD.
With non-intrusive I mean no need to install PowerShell and the VI Toolkit on the "live" servers.

Yes - from my "customized" Cold Clone CD you can connect to ESX via ViToolKit/ Powershell and ViClient and RemoteCli and fastSCP ...

Impressive
I'll give it a try.
PS: did I understand correctly that one cannot build the ColdClone CD on a Vista box ?

Hu - what makes you come to that ?

In the forum on your website it says in the Instructions for MOA 2.3 "Vista 32 may work".

That only means that I don't use Vista - so I can't confirm it works.
A lot of folks build their BartPE with Vista
