Using PowerCLI v5 on vSphere 4.1 hosts

Hi All,

Does anyone here have tried PowerCLI v5 ?

I wonder what would be the caveats in using it against ESX and ESXi 4.1 environment as i do not have vSphere 5 installed just yet.

I'm doing that since PowerCLI 5 came out.

No obvious problems till now.

See the Release Notes for the known problems.

Great, I'll install it tomorrow morning in my laptop. Hopefully all of the script that is in this forum still can be used without any harmful effect in production servers.

Thanks for the quick reply Luc

No problem, make sure to post any "issues" you might see with PowerCLI 5 in a vShere 4.x environment.

Good to note.  Going to update my development devices on Tuesday when I get back to work.
